Do you like Podcasts?

These are a great use of time when stuck in traffic! Can I recommend one in particular that I was recommended and resonated with, The Mindful Kind by Rachael Kable.

I loved how these Podscasts are Rachel’s real life experience, that she is sharing to improve the lives of others. Nice work Rach!

Following this Podcast was recommended by the lovely Kate James from Total Balance. I went to see Kate around the middle of last year for a half day ‘Discover Session’ to assist with the refinement of my project ‘Breaking the Blueprint’.

Kate’s work is brilliant all round, my favourite are her little books, namely ‘Be Mindful & Simplify Your Life’ (with the original cover be-mindful-and-simplify-your-life).  They are a great reminder and good for gifts!

Commitment in a relationship….

I love many of Mel’s posts on Instagram. But this one resonated….

Mel is one of my Yoga teachers at Humming Puppy, I know you shouldn’t have favourites but Mel is my fave ha ha!

Yoga and calmness!

I recommend everyone just try Yoga! I am fortunate to practice my yoga at Humming Puppy (Melbourne studio). With my love of design, in this instance interior architecture, I saw their fitout in a Broadsheet article. Then thought I might check this place out (it was in alignment with my style #5star ha ha)….and can I say it was one of the best decisions of my life!

They run 4 types of Yoga classes – with my favourite being Mellow Hum… they say it is a ‘super chilled restorative class’. This is brilliant if you have had a busy day, week or are simply stressed out!

Life is travelling so fast these days and stress unfortunately is regular in some peoples lives. This class makes you stop for 1 hour and simply chill out. It is important we look after ourselves….and you are responsible for your own actions, so be mindful of the decisions you make people! I finally convinced my Mum to try it as I knew it would benefit her….after her first ‘Mellow Hum’ class she slept right through the night!

The time has come!

Wow, the moment is finally here….I am making my first blog post with many more to come!

I have been talking about my blog for a while now, trying to be a perfectionist and getting all the ducks in a line. When is the right time to start, what do I start with etc etc etc.

This blog idea originated from my thoughts on ‘Breaking the Blueprint’….and then I think, but there are other things I want to blog about, how with that fit in? Maybe I will have two blogs? And so the procrastination went on….I am sure you have all been there!?

So running with two, making a start with ‘Empowerment, Love & Laughter’, and keep the ‘Breaking the Blueprint’ specific for exactly that, so watch this space too!
